At ModulON, we have many years of experience in designing and manufacturing modular container systems for the construction of public facilities.
These modules are factory-produced in standard sizes or customized to fit specific project dimensions. With virtually unlimited configuration possibilities, the system offers exceptional flexibility.
Modular buildings are assembled by simply connecting individual modules on-site. ModulON structures can be built up to four stories high. The staircase solutions are available in both internal and external configurations.
Municipality Kirchberg, Switzerland
Modular school. It consists of 48 modules of oversized width. The usable area of the building is 713 m2. The building was built in 2019.
Student Campus Berlin, Germany
In 2015, we delivered 118 custom-designed residential modules, each 29 m² in size, for a student campus project in Berlin. The units were assembled into a distinctive four-storey building with a total area of 3,422 m². Manufacturing and on-site installation were completed between September 2015 and February 2016, showcasing our ability to deliver complex modular solutions on a tight schedule.
Temporary Prison Facility – Witzwil, Switzerland
For an investor in Switzerland, we manufactured and delivered custom container modules used in the construction of a temporary prison facility in Witzwil. The modules feature a specialized design, reinforced construction, and are built to meet strict Swiss quality and safety standards. This project demonstrates our ability to deliver secure, functional, and regulation-compliant modular solutions for demanding institutional applications. The object consists of 276 modules.
Modular Kindergarten – Switzerland
Our expertise in modular engineering and manufacturing is showcased through the delivery of a fully equipped modular kindergarten in Switzerland.
The building was assembled on-site using modules of 6.0 m and 7.2 m in length, forming a total area of 400 m². The interior layout includes four classrooms, three sanitary units, sleeping rooms, a kitchen, and access to outdoor playgrounds, all designed to meet the functional and safety requirements of early childhood education.
Thanks to the use of high-performance insulation materials, our modular buildings are energy-efficient, providing exceptional thermal performance and reducing long-term operational costs. This project highlights our ability to deliver flexible, sustainable, and child-friendly modular spaces that meet the highest European standards.
