In the last few years with further network and IT industry expansion, Modular data center is becoming a more widely applied solution. Modular systems consist of custom designed modules and components. Most importantly, they offer scalable data center capacity with multiple power and cooling options.
The benefits of modular data shelter solutions include adaptability – additional technical modules can be shipped and integrated or retrofitted into an existing data center or combined into a system of modules.
Modular data centers provide efficient energy usage and a more environmental approach to expansion and infrastructure.
ModulON engineers and manufactures custom Modular and Container Data Centers in cooperation with partners, in order to provide turn key solutions to clients. The level of equipping depends on the Project’s requirements. Some clients are system integrators – therefore they only require empty container module. Additionally, the clients equip the containers with rest of the equipment.
For this particular project Completed in Belgrade in 2019, ModulON used ModuSec panels by RemTech Germany. ModuSec panels provide excellent anti-vandal properties, insulation and fire protection at the same time. The panels have a non porous core and provide water tightness. Specifically, thanks to tongue and groove joints that are sealed with a silicon mastic along all connection points.
